Quotes.

Quoting is our business it’s what we are built to do. We will never carry out any work without a quote being accepted first. For customers that use our portal your quotes will always be available to view and authorise. Simply review our quote and if you are happy click authorise and enter your portal password, it’s as simple as that.

We have built custom software designed to reduce the amount of time needed to generate a quote. Our system gets to work from the moment a customer submits a job. Firstly our system automatically reviews the job sheet and based on the job description, work category and previous works carried out at the same property make a calculated recommendation for the type of repair we think you are trying to report. Our system then looks at the response time you have requested, where our engineers are and the materials and time needed to make necessary repairs. From this information our system serves up the most likely repair code to our estimating team. This process happens in less that 30 seconds and if our estimators agree with the system the quote in presented instantly to the customers account with us. Where are system cannot detect the repair that is required a free inspection will be arranged for one of our friendly engineers to inspect and provide a quote based on that inspection.

So FVR stands for First Visit Repair, this is where our engineer attends an inspection and then confirms they could carry out the repair there and then subject to the customer authorising the quote. If a first visit repair (FVR) is possible our engineers simply click a button and our system gets to work. The engineer has 15 minutes to remain on site whist our contact team provide the customer with a quote. Our system prioritises all FVR jobs and attempt to contact the customer to obtain the necessary authorisation to allow our engineer to proceed. Where we cannot get hold of the customer the engineer will stand down and a revisit will be scheduled following a successful authorisation of our quote.
